Mah Sing introduces new logo, tagline and vision
PETALING JAYA (Feb 27): Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) unveiled its new corporate logo and tagline during the company’s annual dinner at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, recently.
According to a press release today, the new logo is the company’s third since its inception and symbolises Mah Sing’s identity — a company that strives for excellence in product delivery, quality, customer service and customer care.
Designed by award-winning Australian brand consultant Traffic, the new logo is in vibrant red, which represents luck, courage, passion and happiness. The name “Mah Sing” was also retained as a significant amount of goodwill and trust have been associated with the name for more than 50 years.
The launch of the company’s new logo is the visual representation of its group-wide transformation programme and marks the next phase of Mah Sing’s journey in the property industry.
Meanwhile, the group also introduced its new tagline: “Reinvent Spaces. Enhance Life.” This is in line with Mah Sing’s aims to raise the bar by recreating spaces with innovative design and functionality to improve and add value to the quality of life of the community.
Mah Sing group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said: “As we put on a new look, we rethink our purpose. Our tagline is ‘Reinvent Spaces. Enhance Life’. We want to be a meaningful corporation for now and the future. Now, in everything we do, we want to firstly, enhance life. We want to ensure all live well; our customers, our people and our stakeholders.”
In order to achieve its new vision, the group will be focusing on empowering its staff towards personal and professional growth.
The company introduced its POWER statement, which stands for Performance First, Ownership, Well-Being, Empowerment and Resourcefulness — a continuous learning programme to train staff and uphold the company’s values.
To create a more vibrant environment, Mah Sing is renovating its headquarters in Wisma Mah Sing, Jalan Sungai Besi, which will be known as MS@Work to encourage a more innovative mind set and conducive work environment. The renovations will be completed in mid-2017.
“We understand the importance of our staffs’ well-being in the company. We have a high percentage of millennials in our workforce and we believe that addressing their needs is important. We are transforming our company so that both new and experienced staff will be able to achieve a better personal and career growth.
“With the launch of our new logo, tagline and vision, we are instilling a new mind set that will permeate everything we do,” Leong added.
