Mah Sing eyes minimum RM1.6bil sales this year
MAH SING GROUP BHD is aiming for a minimum sales target of RM1.6bil for 2020 with a key focus on the affordable homes segment as around 84% of its target is from residential properties priced below RM700,000.
In a press release issued yesterday, Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said affordable homes located at strategic locations remain highly sought given the growing interest from young families who are first-time buyers, which make up a majority of Malaysia’s population.
“Thus, we are confident to hit our 2020 sales target of a minimum RM1.6bil, which predominantly focuses on the affordable segment, ” he added.
Concurrently, Mah Sing also launched its “Eazy to Own” campaign yesterday which offers easy entry with low upfront costs and affordability with incentives and savings for homebuyers.
The campaign aims to address issues of homebuyers’ financial constraints and difficulties in getting financing.
From its internal survey, Leong noted the key concerns of buyers are pricing, affordability, location and layouts.
“Thus, our latest sales campaign - ‘Eazy to Own’ - is in response to what buyers want, which is in line with our growth strategy as a market driven developer to be flexible and quick to adapt to the rapid change in the market, ” he pointed out.
The property developer also said that the campaign was crafted to address the needs of four demographics, including first-time home buyers, people that are unable to afford a high down payment, people who are currently renting and people who face difficulties in getting their loans approved.
